Living A Better Life

What most of us would like to know at some point in our life is how to live a better more joyful and fulfilling life.

Awareness and responsibility

There are any number of reasons why we can feel that life sucks and is not giving us what we need, want or desire.  The fact is that the complete opposite is happening - our life is giving us exactly what we are asking for.  Whoa.... don't get cross about this, this is really true and we are going to find out why and how.  The Law of Attraction and Cosmic Ordering have always been working in your life; they are nothing new but you may just not have been aware of their part in your life!

Not one of us is broken; we are all living the life that we are ordering from the cosmos or universe in every moment.  Yes, even the worst case scenarios; we have attracted them by our behaviour and more importantly our thinking and what we focus on.

What we focus on appears. This is such a simple universal law and we are quite often completely unaware of it.  So, how do we become more aware?

The easiest way to understand how life is obeying your orders is to think of something wonderful that has happened to you.  What were you thinking or feeling before it happened?  I can be very sure that you were anticipating something good.  It may have been that you were absolutely sure you would get a pay rise, or win something, or meet someone special, or just have a wonderful time, or maybe you had a gut feeling something good was about to happen, or you were excited.

Now think of a time when the opposite happened, when something unpleasant happened.  What were you thinking or feeling before it happened?  I can also be very sure that you had a sense of foreboding however mild or strong.  It may have been that you wouldn't be heard or seen, or you expected a negative response, or you had a gut feeling that something bad was going to happen, or you were afraid.

Some of you may be feeling a bit confused right now because you don't remember thinking or feeling anything in either or one of the above.  That's absolutely fine.  Becoming aware, and for some it may be more aware, of our thoughts and feelings is the first step to realising how we drive our own life.  Yes, we are in complete charge.  Nothing ever happens to us, it can only happen through us.  This means we are the creators of our life and what we experience.  Please do not go into self blaming when you realise what that may mean in your life.  Examining this stuff can be hard and takes courage but what I want you to hear is that you are a wonderful person creating your life really well.  To feel better about this we need to look at the many ways we ask for things, people and experiences in our everyday life and start to change what doesn't give us a wonderful feeling.

Responsibility with awareness for your self, your thoughts words and actions, is what it will take.  When we start this journey of discovery we can no longer blame others for what is happening to us.  We have so often been taught this external psychology of blame and this cuts us off from our real experiences; it creates and re-enforces our unawareness and separateness.  (I am speaking to those of us that can hear/read and understand this.  I am not talking about babies and small children here, who we have a responsibility towards, to teach , nurture and protect.  The soul responsibility for what they/we may experience in infancy is something for another 'chapter').
